Master Budget Auditing Through Real Practice
Six-month intensive program starting September 2025
We don't promise overnight success or guaranteed outcomes. What you'll get is practical training focused on actual audit scenarios used by professionals in Thailand's finance sector. Build the skills through repeated practice with feedback from working auditors.

How the Program Actually Works
We've structured this around how auditors develop skills in real workplace settings. Three phases over six months, with each building on what came before.

- Writing clear audit findings that make sense
Professional Phase
Weeks 19-26 | 16 sessions

- Ethics discussions around real dilemmas
Schedule and Format
Evening Sessions
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. We know most participants work full-time, so sessions run after standard business hours.
Small Group Size
Maximum 18 participants per cohort. This keeps feedback personal and allows everyone to actually practice the techniques, not just watch demonstrations.
Hybrid Delivery
Attend in-person at our Bangkok location or join via video. All materials accessible through our platform either way. Sessions are recorded for review.

What You'll Be Able to Do
This isn't about memorizing theory. By the end, you should be comfortable handling the types of tasks that come up in actual audit work. These are skills we've watched develop in previous cohorts.

Dalmar Finch
Lead Instructor, Budget Audit Track
Spent twelve years doing internal audits for mid-sized companies before switching to teaching. Still consults part-time, which keeps the material current with what's actually happening in Bangkok offices.

Briony Calloway
Senior Audit Specialist
Works with government sector audits during the day, teaches our Thursday sessions. Good at explaining why certain procedures exist and when they matter most.

Tavish Pemberton
Guest Lecturer, Compliance Topics
Joins us for specific sessions on regulatory changes and compliance frameworks. Previously worked at one of the accounting firms that everyone's heard of.

Lennox Whitmore
Practice Coordinator
Manages the simulation projects and helps students work through the practice scenarios. Available for questions between sessions and reviews everyone's draft reports.
Common Questions
Things people usually ask during information sessions
Do I need an accounting background to join?
Not necessarily, but you should be comfortable reading financial statements. If you've worked in bookkeeping, financial planning, or similar roles, you'll probably be fine. We can send you a self-assessment document if you're unsure whether your background fits.
What happens if I miss sessions?
All sessions get recorded and posted within 24 hours. You'll need to review the material and complete any exercises before the next session. Miss more than four sessions and you might struggle with the later content, just being honest about it.
Is this recognized by employers?
You'll receive a certificate of completion from Tap Scroll. It's not a formal credential like the CPA, but previous participants have mentioned it during job interviews as evidence of specific training. Your actual audit work samples from the course often matter more than the certificate itself.
How much work outside of sessions?
Expect around 3-4 hours per week for reviewing materials and working on practice exercises. The simulation projects in the final phase require more time, maybe 6-7 hours weekly for those few weeks. This isn't something you can complete just by showing up to sessions.
What software will we use?
Mostly Excel for analysis work and a cloud-based audit documentation platform that several Thai firms use. We'll provide temporary access to the audit platform during the course. You'll need Excel on your computer, though the free online version works for most exercises.
Can I get job placement help afterward?
We don't promise job placement or make guarantees about employment outcomes. What we can do is review your resume if it's audit-related, connect you with alumni who work in the field, and occasionally share when partner organizations mention they're hiring. Your job search results depend on many factors beyond our control.
Join the September 2025 Cohort
